The man of the match was Kukis Vincent Rennie who looked dangerous throughout the match in both attack and defence.

The Cook Islands will now look forward to their clash against the USA Hawks in Jacksonville, Florida on the 16th November. The winner of this fRugby League World Cup Qualifier will determine which team will secure the final place in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.

The last time these two nations met was back in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup. The fixture was also the opening match of their group. On that occasion the USA Hawks surprised the Cook Islands winning 32 – 20.
