The Danish Rugby League Forbund (DRLF) have announced their initial train-on squad ahead of the first Nordic Cup tie against Norway in Oslo on the 28th June 2014.
While there are several familiar faces, such as talisman Eugene Hanrahan, there is also an influx of youth with highly-rated teenagers Christoffer Ellebirke and Malipo Birunga Yusufu included for the first time.

The Dansk Rugby League Forbund were delighted to welcome the President of Scottish Rugby League, John Risman, to Copenhagen on July 13, 2009. The World renowned international Rugby League trainer took a mixed men and women training session of players from the Copenhagen area.
The Danmark Rugby League Forbund has hosted its first Rugby League European Federation activity following the successful conclusion of a match official tutor training seminar.
Part of the joint RLEF-EC Leadership Devolution Project, Wales sent two match official tutors to oversee a course attended by the German and Danish rugby leagues.

The launch of the first club side in Denmark, Copenhagen RLFC, this weekend has been backed by some of Super Leagueâ€™s star names.

The Danish Rugby League Forbund has hosted its first ever coaching seminar as part of the latest instalment of the on-going RLEF-RLIF-EU funded ‘Leadership Devolution Project’.
The course, which was led by RLEF coach educator and Catalans Dragons head of youth development Thierry Dumaine, brought together Welsh, German and Danish participants for four days of tutor training and a practical Level 1 course.
Danish national team coach Nigel Kitching has handed a debut to Jonas Damgaard Harreskov in the team to face holders Sweden on Saturday in Copenhagen, (kick off 2pm) in the second match n the 2014 Nordic Cup.
